Guess That Smell

L and I played "What's that Smell?"

I put this little game together in about 2 minutes when I needed a little between lunch and nap activity, so the "smells" weren't very thought out but it was so simple, we had so much fun and a lot of laughs!

Peanut butter, syrup, ranch dressing, an orange, and a cookie. He guessed 3 out of 5.

and it sure was amazing how fast he guessed that this was a cookie!

    2. Lol Thank you Laura! It had been so long I had forgotten about it. I usually don't delete comments, but that is my alltime least favorite and most ridiculous comment i've ever received. I do so appreciate the share! :)

  2. I think her post is perfectly fine and a fun idea I'd want to do with my son. Think you are overreacting quite a bit.

  4. I have been reading through all your posts for an hour! Getting lots of ideas for what to do with my 3-year-old b/g twins. This one looks like so much fun!! My daughter hates messes and so some of these ideas are helping me to figure out how to do art without getting her too messy so she can have fun too!

  5. I love your ideas, I take care of my 4 year old grandson and my 17 mo old. I did a blindfold with lunch, having my 4 year old touch, smell and taste what was on his plate, it was great. He hates tomatoes and was afraid to taste anything round. lol
This is a great thing for kids, any activity can be ruined by a sick mind. that is not what this is about. I also took him outside to a busy street and with the blind fold on and had him listen to all the sounds, traffic, trucks/cars when traffic stopped. what other nature sounds.

  6. Haha, wow, too much drama in the world. This is PERFECTLY ok to do with your child. It is so annoying when people try to dictate what we should and shouldn't do in our homes. Especially when it is positive and educational. Don't let post like the first one discourage you. I have read through all 200 of your activities and you clearly have great intentions with your sons. Keep the good ideas flowing. You're brilliant.
